Can i borrow my mothers vehicle as a full licensed driver but do not have insurance. My mother is insured on the vehicle. If you don't live with her and rarely drive the car, you do not need to be listed on the policy. As long as she has insurance in effect and gives you permission. She should be advised that if you have an accident it will affect her rates. Please be sure that she discusses this further with her insurer for any clarification.
