Appeal againt a claim car accident

by Ben
(Mississauga)

I paid for a ticket under "failed to report an accident". I didn't report the accident to my insurance and it was my car who was damaged and nothing happened to the 2nd car. No damage, nobody was hurt.. Since I paid this ticket and after I realized that I should go to court and fight for it.. Do I still have to appeal it even I paid it? and whom should I contact for more information?
Thanks

Answer

Hi Ben,
To challenge a traffic ticket you need to go to court. I am not sure that you can appeal it after you have already paid the ticket. You should contact a lawyer or a paralegal that advertises help with traffic tickets (there are lots of them)

I have a feeling you are stuck with the ticket now.
