Accident and No Insurance

by David
(Ontario)

I was stopped at an intersection and was hit from behind, the driver at fault has insurance, but I just recently found out that my insurance was cancelled, is it possible to get my car fixed by his insurance even though I have none.

No Insurance - Hit From Behind

Hi David
It's possible, but it will be a challenge. Your insurance is supposed to cover you. But the drier who hit you has liability coverage under their coverage. This includes property damage.

Good luck with this.
