60amp service knob and tube

I have an older home that is being rented out. it has 60amp service and knob and tube wiring. Is there a high risk insurance co. that will insure the home?

High Risk Insurance

Hi there,
If you contact enough brokers you might find a high risk carrier. It will cost you alot (about 4-5 times what normal rates would be, for less coverage). It would be better to replace the wiring ....

Please be sure to discuss this with a licensed insurance representative. And you can try getting quotes here:

knob and tub wiring

I had an electrical inspector at my house with 100 AMp knob and tube, after I fixed a few things he passed my house. I presented this with the insurance company and they charged me 40% more on base charge of insurance.
hope that helps.
