3 cars - 3 drivers
Hi - I have a company vehicle, in which only my wife and I are allowed to drive. We have another vehicle, in which my wife is the principle driver, and my son (19 - G license/ driver training) and I are also on the policy. I want to buy another car, in which our son will be able to drive. I have read that if there are 3 cars in the household and 3 drivers, then my son will need to be a principle driver ? Thanks.....

Yes, in most cases, 3 cars + 3 drivers = 3 primary drivers.
BUT, if you have a separate policy for the commercial vehicle, and a policy for two personal vehicles, you might be able to be the principle driver on two vehicles.
