2 car family, 1 g2 student
(Ontario)
We have a 17 year old with his G2. We have a car that if we put him on as occasional, is $2000/year. and a commercial van, that would be $600/yr. Can we have him listed on the van as an occassional driver, and with permission from us, will he still be allowed to drive the car if the van is not available?
Son with G2
Hi there, please discuss this in detail with a licensed insurance representative. But I will say that in my opinion this is not a good idea for you to do. Why would he drive the commercial vehicle on occassion but not a personal vehicle. If he is driving the personal vehicle on a regular basis he needs to be listed on it.
