17 year old speeding 31 over

Hi there,
My daughter is an occasional driver under our policy. She just got charged for driving 31 KM/over. It's her first speeding ticket. How much and for how long with this affect our rates. Is it worth trying to get it knocked down to under 30 over to reduce the points from 4 to 3?

Ah the joys of teenagers! Many insurers see a ticket of 30 or over as very serious. So this could have a very big impact on rates. You might want to get quotes with the current conviction and without just for comparison sake before deciding to fight it.
